Course Materials and Learn

The Course Handbook and materials (including handouts, lecture recordings, tutorial information, eReserve links, and staff contact details) are published online via Learn. You can access Learn via the MyEd Portal on your computer, or by using the Learn App on your tablet or smart phone.

All Law courses have their own site on Learn and you will automatically be given access to courses you are enrolled on, so you will always be able to access materials for your courses whilst you are a matriculated student.

All submissions of coursework are made through Learn, using the Turnitin system. Please note that all coursework is checked for originality using the Turnitin Orginality Checking software.

It is essential that you check Learn regularly as materials and announcements are added on a regular basis throughout the semester.

Requesting Printed Materials

All course materials are provided via Learn in both Word and PDF format. If you require your course materials in an alternative format, such as large print, please contact law.ugo@ed.ac.uk including your name, UUN, course title and details of the material you are requesting.

Undergraduate Community on Learn

As a Law student, you are automatically enrolled on the Law UG Community site on Learn. This is where you can find important documents relating to undergraduate study, such as the Undergraduate Student Handbook. You should ensure that you familiarise yourself with the Undergraduate Community information at the start of each year.
