Student Contract

The Student Contract underpins your life as a University of Edinburgh student; it forms the partnership between you and the University. The University has a supportive set of regulations, policies and procedures, and these, along with the Terms & Conditions of Admissions form the contract between you and the University.

The Postgraduate Team and your Personal Tutor/ Programme Director will flag up particular policies at key point of the year, particularly relating to assessment practice. However, we would strongly recommend you familiarise yourself with the various policies and procedures governing your studies, so that you know what is expected of you, but also what you can expect of the University.
