3rd Edition of the Dalhousie Law Graduate Society Annual Graduate Research Conference themed “Law, justice and Automation”
We excited to advise that the 3rd Edition of the Dalhousie Law Graduate Society Annual Graduate Research Conference themed “Law, justice and Automation”. The Conference will take place on the 10th May 2022 and the call for abstracts has been extended to March 25th.
The Conference will take place in a hybrid mode (at the Schulich School of Law, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and on Zoom).
The Conference’s objective is to engage perennial issues touching on the implications of automation, law, and justice. Automation is a growing and inevitable practice that arguably implicates legal structures and practices. The Conference will host established academics who will address nascent issues around the Conference’s theme from diverse methodological and theoretical perspectives. As per our tradition, we would accept presentations from graduate students and early career academics on issues connected to the theme of the Conference.
We therefore encourage recent graduates and early-career academics specializing in law and related disciplines to submit abstracts for the conference. To apply for the call for submission, kindly send an abstract with a maximum number of 300 words. Please submit through the available form: https://forms.microsoft.com/r/0EXg0KMhSp
Deadline for submission of abstracts is 25th March 2023, 11:59 PM, Atlantic Standard Time (AST). For more information about the conference, kindly review the attached brochure. DLGS Graduate Research Conference 2023_Brochure
