Event Description:
Martin Fayulu, veteran politician and leader of the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Engagement for Citizenship & Development Party joins us on the 3rd of November for a special pre-COP27 talk. The focus: How is the DRC helping to solve the climate crisis?
The DRC is one of the most resource-rich and biodiverse countries on the planet. 10 times larger than the UK and home to the Congo Basin (the second largest rainforest in the world), the DRC will play a crucial role in tackling climate change.
Martin Fayulu was chosen as the unity candidate in the 2018 DRC Presidential Elections. He won 35% of the vote share and is standing for election in next year’s race.
