Raise – Student Charity

Opportunity to help get involved with an award-winning charity initiative in Edinburgh

Raise is an award-winning student charity initiative which aims to change the way students think about charity, encouraging students to take a positive and deliberate approach towards giving. Nationally, we have raised over £385,000 for the Against Malaria Foundation in just 5 years by encouraging hundreds of students to celebrate the end of the academic year by making a personally significant donation to charity.

Now you have the chance to be part of bringing it here to Edinburgh this year! We’re looking for a team of talented and passionate students to shape this exciting project, forming a group of active and engaged student representatives this term. You’ll gain valuable skills across the board, make an impressive addition to your CV, and have the chance to set up an exciting project with the potential for huge long-term impact long after you’ve moved on.

There are many ways to get involved as a rep, so please apply if you have any interest at all in the project!

Applications are accepted on THIS FORM until 6th of November 2022. For more info on Raise, visit our website or watch this TEDx Talk ‘Rethinking Celebration: The Positive Case for Giving’. Any questions can be sent to raiseedinburgh@gmail.com
