PhD funding – webinar for prospective applicants 5th October
Dear Student,
Do you think you might be interested in applying for a PhD in the coming year or two? As part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science (SGSSS) is keen to ensure that all those with potential to undertake a PhD in the social sciences are aware of what a PhD is and how funding might be obtained. As such we are running a webinar on 5th October from 14:00 to 15:00 which you can register for via this link: Starting your Journey Towards a PhD: First Steps in the Application Process
This webinar will give you a chance to hear about some of the processes involved as well as to hear from some of our inspiring, current PhD students who have been on a journey from originally thinking that a PhD was not for them, to now thriving early career researchers.
