A call for submissions for The Edinburgh Student Law Review

The Edinburgh Student Law Review is currently seeking submissions for its 2020 edition. As with previous years, we welcome submissions from students at all stages, from first year LLB students right through to PhD candidates. Each year a substantial proportion of our articles are composed of summative assessments which students have adapted for publication.

Do you have a piece of summative work which you have submitted since the end of January 2020, for one of your courses, that you are particularly proud of?  We would encourage you to consider submitting it to us. All you need to do is ensure that you have adapted your work to conform to the ESLR House Style, which can be found on our website at https://www.eslr.ed.ac.uk/house-style/, and that it falls within one of the following word limits:

  • Short Articles of up to 3000 words
  • Long Articles of up to 8000 words
  • Case Notes of approximately 1000 words

The ESLR accepts articles in any area of Scots, UK, European or international law, as well as cognate disciplines such as legal history, jurisprudence and technology and law. Submissions should be emailed to the Editors-in-Chief at edslr@ed.ac.uk before 5pm on 31st January 2021.
