Calling all writers! The Edinburgh University Psychology Magazine
Calling all writers!
The Edinburgh University Psychology Magazine is a place for people to share their love of psychology. We want to give students a platform to write about issues related to psychology that they are passionate about.
If you would like to get your article published by the EUPM, there are two ways you can get involved:
- We are looking for submissions for the weekly EUPM blog.
Articles can be related to any aspect of psychology that peaks your interest, whether that be commentary on current issues in psychology, an exploration of an aspect of social or biological psychology you are particularly interested in or how psychology intersects with other topics such as law or politics. We are open to any ideas and welcome submissions year-round.
Submissions can be up to 1000 words and should include APA referencing.
- We are looking for articles for the first EUPM journal. This semester our theme is ‘The Psychology of Crises’.
We’d love to see your analysis, reviews and/or commentary on any topic under this umbrella including COVID-19, the replication crisis, the climate crisis or personal crises.
Submissions should be between 1000 and 2000 words with APA referencing.
The deadline for submitting your idea is 28th February 2021.
You don’t need to be studying psychology to get involved. If you have an idea for an article for either our blog or journal send an email with an outline of your proposed idea to edupsychmag@gmail.com. Once you’ve received the go ahead from us you can start writing!”
