Calling all Undergraduates – Start your New Year with a New Challenge?
Join us for #makeyourmark, a fun, inspiring, and insightful digital event, which offers all University of Edinburgh undergraduates the opportunity to build friendships, knowledge and skills, while working together to create an idea that matches enterprise with purpose.
Working with other undergraduate students from across the University, your team will decide which area of your challenge you wish develop a business idea around. Inspiring business leaders and bright thinkers from the University will support you throughout; and you will also have the chance to win vouchers and transformational mentoring.
This year’s challenge topics are:
- Food poverty
- Climate change
- Mental Health (including isolation)
- Social inequality (including access to digital education and migration).
Hear from Liz Dokukina, who participated in #makeyourmark 2020, on why you should participate!
We are committed to making the #makeyourmark experience fully accessible and safe for all our participants. We are working to account for the various interests and needs of students across communities, including BAME, LGBT+, WP and disabled students.
If you are interested in participating but foresee particular obstacles in doing so – whether health, financial, or otherwise – we would encourage you to get in touch so that we can support your involvement in and contribution to #makeyourmark.
#makeyourmark will take place online from Friday 5-Monday 8 February 2021. For more information on #makeyourmark and how to get in touch please visit the website.
