Law Society of Scotland – Final year LLB survey 2020

To all Final Year LLB students,

Always dreamed of being a solicitor? Found law to be an interesting subject but not interested in practising? Found a new career direction while studying? Aspiring to be an advocate?

We have launched a survey to understand more about the career aspirations of current law students and solicitors of the future. Whether you hope to become a solicitor or not, we would like to hear from all final year law students, to understand more about your career choices.

Among other key topics, we would like to explore:

  • Do you aspire to be a solicitor and if so, do you have a specific career goal in mind in the law?
  • Do you aim to work in another profession or sector entirely?
  • Do you feel there are any barriers to entering the legal profession?
  • What might you value in your career longer-term?

The survey is open to all final year LLB students (including second year accelerated LLB students) across Scotland.

The survey can be found here – https://www.lawscot.org.uk/news-and-events/law-society-news/final-year-llb-survey-2020/
