Scotland’s future – an Independent Nation in Europe?

Joanna Cherry, the Member of Parliament for Edinburgh South West and Queen’s Counsel, played a central role in recent Brexit dramas at Westminster and as a petitioner in historic legal challenges at the Court of Session, UK Supreme Court, and the European Court of Justice. She practiced as a solicitor with the Edinburgh legal firm Brodies WS, was admitted as an advocate in 1995, before serving as a Advocate Depute and Senior Advocate Depute.

With the UK legally exiting the European Union on Janaury 31st, she will set out her view on Scotland’s and the UK’s constitutional future.
