Research Assistance in International Economic Law

 

Dr Rafael Lima Sakr, Teaching Fellow in International Economic Law, is looking for a research assistant to help with two projects: (i) preparation of a paper on the history of international monetary law, and (ii) the preparation of research funding applications.

 

The research assistant will be expected to assist Dr Sakr in undertaking relevant tasks such as locating and structuring relevant legal materials, preparing footnotes and bibliography, and proofreading the manuscript.

 

Essential requisites for the post are familiarity with international trade law, excellent writing and research skills including competence in online search tools and legal databases with strong attention to detail. Fluency in French is highly desirable.

 

Total work: A maximum of 15 hours, to be undertaken between December 2019 and January 2020.

Eligibility to Work

This role is grade UE05 and attracts a basic hourly rate of £14.17 per hour.
