A little bit about the event…

Have you noticed the increased prevalence of facial recognition in the news? Are you interested in the legal ramifications of this technology? Do you want to find out how to avoid being recognised as a human being? Then come along to the our Facial Recognition Workshop! We’ll cover the basics of facial recognition technology, and it’s use in the UK and abroad, as well as opening up a discussion on risks of bias, human rights, and predictive policing to try and get to the bottom of whether this technology is a Good Thing™ or a Bad Thing.™ Most importantly, we’ll show you how to paint your face to evade recognition software!

We hope to see you there!
